Juelz holds a Doctorate of Music in Contemporary Vocal Performance from McGill University (Montreal), and Masters Degree from the University of Southern California in Vocal Performance. Her areas of specialization include electronic vocal music, contemporary vocal practices, extended techniques, and bel canto methodology. She has trained intensively as a classical singer and pianist since the age of five, and graduated at the top of her class for both her Masters and Doctorate degrees. She received her primary yoga training under the guidance of Ranjitha S., a beloved mentor of Buddhism and authentic yoga philosophy, and continues to train in Eastern Arts practices. She is currently obtaining a second Masters Degree from the University of Denver in Arts and Culture Management: Outreach and Advocacy, with an additional graduate certificate in Global Studies.

A lifelong music teacher and vocal accompanist, Juelz is transitioning her life towards ‘intellectual activism’ and freelance writing. In conjunction with her teaching career, she has collaborated on several art collectives dedicated to empowering social change and global humanitarian empathy through multicultural engagements with spiritually-minded artists. At present, she is devoting her time to researching, writing, and engaging her audience toward a higher modality of conscious, intellectual thinking. “Man’s mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions.” –Oliver Wendell Holmes
